Our School is built in an area of 6 Acres land with a total built up area of 1.35Lakh Sq.Ft .
In all there are 100 well ventilated Classrooms, along with fully equipped Computer / Physics / Chemistry /
Biology Laboratories, Library, Auditorium
and Sports Arena.

Computer
Lab
The school is having spacious computer lab with cutting edge
technology and high internet connectivity equipped with multimedia, media facilities, Core 2 duo processors, TFT Monitors and centralised
air conditional centre. The entire campus is networked with intranet facility for various tasks to pertain the daily routines.
This finally has turned the campus into a paperless environment.
The school also has Internet facility to the staff and the students.
Latest communication technologies like
internet and on line teaching learning facilities and also special
softwares are installed.Computer science is taught as an additional subject right from class I to class VIII.
The students of these classes are taught various software modules on different networks and different Operating systems.

Library
We believe that libraries must foster learning, and encourage children to assimilate knowledge in various forms.
The large library includes material that is sourced widely, andmore importantly we will encourage children to scour through every inch of it! The students can use the library
for academic work, as well as for
leisure and fun.
Our goal is to ensure that students see the library as an integral part of a life of learning, providing both scholastic
enrichment as well as enjoyment.

Physics
Lab
Sri Vinayaga Highersecondary School is proud to have a sophisticated Physics Laboratory with the latest facilities that equip the students to have hands on experience.
The Flat-topped tables used as student workstations allow multiple arrangements and combinations for laboratory work and small-group activities. The equipment ranges from the commonly found lens,
magnet, beam balance, spring balance, and glass prism to the
advanced apparatus like voltmeter, ammeter and resistors and spectrometers to name a few.
The Laboratory reinforces the knowledge acquired in the theory
class by emphasizing on the fundamental concepts of physics. It aids the students understanding of using lab equipments. Moreover, it makes
them realize the importance of direct observation as
compared to inference based on theory.
It helps the students develop a broad array of basic skills,
especially experimental and analytical skills, and a general understanding of the tools of experimental physics and data analysis.
To study and understand the dynamic of Physics subject, practical knowledge of the different phenomena is as important as the theoretical knowledge. Keeping this in mind, we maintain one of the most well equipped Physics Lab which is a hub of modern scientific facilities, combined with the expertise and knowledge of our staff.
Following the CBSE Curriculum, our lab provides the perfect environment to conduct all of experiments in all the domains. It has a provision of large number of experimental setups on different varieties of fields of Physics.

Biology
Lab
Laboratory, field activities and inquiry provide students with opportunities to question, observe, sample, experience, and experiment with scientific phenomena in their quest for knowledge of living things. The marble worktops are heat resistant and storage cabinets are easily accessible.
The laboratory apparatus ranges from simple slides, test-tube, petridishes, Bunsen burners, beakers and flasks to the composite microscopes of varying powers to observe samples and organisms closely. Besides the aforesaid the laboratory also has charts, models and specimens meant for demonstrations.
The Biology Lab is very spacious which can accommodate 30 students at a time. Our lab is well equipped with highly advanced microscopes, for better results. Varieties of permanent slides are easily accessible to children. Moreover beautifully painted and well labelled diagrammatic representations of various specimens are present along with virtual images of specimen as per CBSE norms so that students can visualize and understand a specimen easily.
